Thank you so much for all you did to help us downsize from our two story house to a much smaller one in the same neighborhood.  It was pretty scary to sell our home before we had a place to live, but you walked us through it; encouraging us every inch of the way!  I loved your sense of humor that helped make light of some of the stresses in moving.

My family recently relocated from the East Coast. After having a few less than pleasant meetings with some very pushy agents, I ran into Skip at an open house. I told him up front that we weren't quite ready to buy yet, but he still took the time to talk to me and answer all of my questions-even though he knew he wasn't going to sell me the house he was showing. 

When we were ready to start seriously looking, I emailed Skip.  He and Renee took us under their wings and made the process of buying a new home-in a ferociously competitive environment-fast, easy, and fun!  Renee took us out on a marathon house hunt on a hot day, and was such a trooper. She had really done her homework with our lists of wants and needs, and had a dozen houses lined up for us to see. Because they have such a great knowledge of the areas, prices, and current market, when we found a house that we loved and followed their advice, we were able to beat out many other bidders and purchase our dream home. 

I have small children, so phone conversations are tough.  They were great about doing the bulk of communications via email or text, and any correspondence was returned very quickly.  A huge plus when you are trying to handle business during nap times!

They are both very honest and upfront about any issues that need to be discussed, and because they have been doing work in this business for so many years, they are a wealth of information all around.  On top of many restaurant suggestions, we also got referrals for an interior designer, handy man, and electrician that they know and trust.  Priceless information when moving across to a new place!

They really go above and beyond to help out the families they are working with. Skip helped entertain my babies when a sitter backed out last minute for a walk through with the sellers, and also out of his way to purchase a second garage door opener for us when the sellers didn't provide it as advertised.

Last summer, I listed my home in Los Altos with The Levy Team.  At that time, the housing market was very unsteady so I was nervous as to how long it would take to sell the house.  The Levy’s have a very good grasp not only on the Los Altos market, but how to make the entire process of selling a home easier on their clients.  With my job at the Los Altos Town Crier, I knew many of the Realtors in town and I chose to work with the Levy’s again. They helped me buy my home in 2000 and also helped my parents sell their home in Los Altos in 2000.

After 29 years living in the same house followed by a year of renting it while residing out of state, it was time to sell my home.
